Thank you for your interest in our products!

If we have received this message we think you might find an answer to your requests in one of the following Frequently Asked Questions.
Please read carefully through all the listed details and in case you will not find your answer please don’t hesitate to contact us with a more specific question.

    1. How can I receive a quote/proforma?
In case you need a Quote/Proforma to evaluate prices and shipping costs or a Quote/Proforma to be presented to your university Purchase Office, please add to your cart  the products of your interest and proceed to “Checkout”. Under “Order Notes” please fill in the following text: “This order has to be considered for quotation purpose only” . Now select “Direct Bank Transfer” as payment method, mark the flag on “I accept the terms and conditions” and now proceed with “Place order” .
You will receive an email that you can print out as a valid quote/pro-forma invoice to be presented to your university Purchase Office. The Order Total listed in the email is the total cost of your order.

Your order will be considered valid only when we will receive the official order from your University Department or a further email from you asking to remove the text “This order has to be considered for quotation purpose only” from the Order Notes field.
If you are customer from the European Union you can only proceed to purchase if you provide a valid EU-VAT number (for companies in EU quotes indicate price without VAT as per intra-EU trading law). In case you don’t have an EU-VAT number and you are ordering from within EU you will have to put a flag on “European Private Customer” and you will be charged with the Italian VAT costs.
Extra costs may be applied at the arrival of the products to your country depending on your Customs Office fees (please don’t ask us how much that can be, it can vary a lot from country to country).
Lead Time will start when we will receive the official order from your University.

  2. How can I place an order?
Every order has to be submitted through the Formula Seven website http://www.formula-seven.com/. Even in case your official order will be submitted from your University Department please place an order to be used as a quote and that will be referenced in your University order (Please see all the details of point 1).
If you are customer from the European Union you can only proceed to purchase if you provide a valid EU-VAT number (for companies in EU quotes indicate price without VAT as per intra-EU trading law). 3. Lead time?
Lead Time for every product is 6-8 weeks.

4. Delivery time?
We deliver all of our order with TNT courier except for orders inside Italy where we use GLS Executive. Delivery times for TNT can vary from 3-4 working days between central Europe countries up to a maximum of 25 working days depending on your shipping address. Please don’t ask us for more details about delivery times because it doesn’t depend on us. You will be able to track your parcel with the TNT tracking number provided at the moment of the delivery of your order.

5. Do you offer any discount?
We offer discount on single products that will be advertised on our facebook page, and on our News page on the Formula Seven website. Unfortunately we cannot offer discount on your cart total just because you represent your University because our main business is with University teams. In case you are a returning customer don’t hesitate to contact us for special offers.

    6. Custom Products?
We only sell standard components as listed in the datasheet tab of our products. Please don’t ask for custom lengths or sizes unless the datasheet is not clear about it.

  7. Where can I Download the 3D model of the components?
All the available 3D STEP model of the components can be found in the Download tab of each product webpage.

  8. Standard Impact Attenuators Dynamic tests?
The aim of the Standard Impact Attenuator is to save time and costs of a Dynamic Impact test therefore Dynamic tests specification should not be submitted for a Standard Impact Attenuator. We can only provide the Certificate of Conformity related to your purchase invoice in order to guarantee that your Impact Attenuator has been manufactured with DOW IMPAXX™ 700. Please ask to your Event Judges if this CoC is enough to take part to the competition.

 9. My univerity can only accept to pay after the arrival of the products?
If your order is issued directly form your University, ee have no problem with payments after the shipment of the products as far as the conditions of the payment are stated in the official order from your University Department.

    10. Can you provide details of the lamination used for Suspension Tubes and Steering Column tubes?
We are afraid we cannot provide the lamination sequence for our carbon fiber tubes.

    11. Do you sell some DOW IMPAXX™ 700 foam for specimen or in order to make our own Impact Attenuator?
We can only sell DOW IMPAXX™ 700 as a Standard Impact Attenuator. We cannot provide any extra material.

    12. Italian University Documentation?
Le università Italiane hanno bisogno di una procedura speciale per poter procedere all’acquisto dei prodotti. Per poter ottenere un’offerta seguite i passi al punto 1 (seconda parte); aggiungete al campo “Order Notes” il testo: “Si fa richiesta della documentazione DURC”. In caso abbiate bisogno di ulteriori moduli richiesti dalla vostro università non esitate a inoltrateceli privatamente e procederemo a rispedirveli compilati.
